The RoadRunners, Samaipata Bolivia

La Pajcha, a beautiful waterfall with a white sandy beach, lies hidden in a canyon a 2 hour drive from Samaipata. On a sunny day you can spend hours sunbathing in the soft sand or, if you don't mind the rather cold water, have fun in and under the waterfall itself.

The pool is several meters deep so you can jump of the rocks near the falls.

There is also a nice walk around the falls into the mountains, following the small river upstream. A good chance to see some condors passing by and some parrots flocking around.

You need to bring water (1 ltr.) and some lunch. Swimming stuff, sunscreen and insect repellent are also good to have.
