Amboro Fern forest

We pick you up at your hotel at 9:00 and proceed into the national park by (4x4) car.  After one hour we can not drive any further and need to continue on foot.  Walking for an other 30 minutes we reach the cloud forest where we have a short break for a snack and a drink.  Continuing uphill we reach the rim of this mountain range around noon and will have lunch with a gorgeous view on the "Muela du Diablo" (devils tooth).

After lunch we can either climb to the top of the "Cerro de las Minas" (2400 mtr) or enter the forest at the other side of the rim where it is much denser and very beautiful.

Halfway the afternoon we start to go down again, have a swing on a vine and maybe climb a tree.  Around 16:00 we try to be back at the car so we enter town around 17:00

You need to bring your lunch and water (1,5 ltr), sunscreen and a fleece for when it gets windy on the rim or on the top of "las Minas". A hat and good walking shoes make life a lot nicer during this hike.
