Cerro Catedral
We then climb to the top of one of the highest mountains in area. It is not technically difficult, but you should definitively not have a problem with heights. In places where it might be dangerous we use a rope for security. After a two hour hike/climb we reach the top and you can enjoy the 360˚ view over the "Elbow of the Andes".
After lunch we start to go down again via a different route. The final part we cross a small patch of sub-tropical forest with bibosi, giant ferns and orchids. Before we drive back to Samaipata we have a cold drink at a local tavern. We arrive at Samaipata around 17:00
